Isn't it weird to think about being a two-income house? Or to remember what it's like to be a two-income house? I can't barely remember what that was like...
This is the funniest season of life. Just thinking outloud.
I think I would save the extra cash you have now. I would put it into different funds like a shopping fund for yourself, house fund, or a date fund. Or save it for a little vacation after the first year of mesd-school, which will be their last summer break. Just a few thoughts.
When we got married we skipped right over DINK (double income no kids) to SINK, then dove into no-income-one-baby for a couple months before hubby started residency. Woo hoo!!
I look forward to the day when we'll have two incomes. I'm a teacher and it kinda bites not having ANY extra money. But God always provides, and I must learn to trust Him more.
BTW: I need to get my formal introduction on here. Here's the intro. to my intro:
My name is Shirley. My hubby and I have been married for four and a half months. He is in his third year of medical school - we are thrilled it is slowly but surely coming to a conclusion! We currently live in Virginia, where I am a teacher, a coach and a tutor. Our only child is a nine and a half pound boy Bichon Frise. His name is Louis. I love both of my boys and can't imagine life without em'!

Yep. We're in the two income phase for a few more months...Any advice on what to blow this cash on before we dive into poverty? :)
