How is everyone doing? We are in the midst of residency interviews and baby boy #2. Adam has traveled quite a bit for interviews and it's been really cool but I'm glad that they are almost done! Now we're thinking through and processing and trying to decide how we want to rank the programs and cities. I am not believing that 4th year is half-way through.
How is everyone else? We need some updates and thoughts and feelings on life!

Wow, congrats on being halfway through the 4th year! Exciting :)
We are halfway through the second year. One week til winter break! We had our little girl, Emmalyn, on November 17. She came at perfect time--right before Thanksgiving break. Thank goodness, because it gave us time to get adjusted and our parents were able to come stay with us. Next semester, my husband only has class two days a week, but will be studying for the first part of his boards. Then, in the Spring we'll be moving so my husband can do his first rotations. We're thankful because he got a year-long spot so we can all be together for a solid year. yay!!

My husband is on surgery rotation now and loving it... 1/2 way through our 3rd year! Working on researching residency programs so he can figure out where he wants to do outrotations at this summer.
What we are trying to figure out tho is--- how do you know what a 'good' residency program is?
